Important limitation
A statistical Claude watermark is woven into token choices at generation time. Checking that signal requires Anthropic's method and private key. A Unicode scanner cannot reproduce that verification.
Literal characters and formatting present in the text you paste, with exact positions and plain-language explanations.
Whether Claude generated, edited, translated, or processed the text, or whether a private model-level watermark is present.
Use the report for technical inspection, not academic discipline, employment decisions, or claims about who wrote a document.
No account, upload, or external AI detector is involved.
